Born in a small town in Mid-Missouri, I grew up as the youngest of three siblings on the family farm. Yet even though there were only three of us didn't mean we were just your average sized family. With a slew of cousins and friends always coming and going our home was always full. Living just on the outside of town also had its many advantages as well. From playing in the barn to running in the fields there was always lots for a child to do.

I started taking photos in middle school and continued on thru high school. Yet it was after I became a mother that I really developed a true love for the camera. Capturing my children became a passion and that passion grew then to my family and friends. After my marriage to my husband I decided to move forward with my passion and began taking classes.

Aside from my photography career I also work for the University of Missouri and have been able to extend my photography into that job as well. From conferences to trainings and even the occasional head shots, I am able to view life thru an eye piece. There is no greater joy for me than seeing the results of what I take.

When I'm not working than I am spending time with my family and friends. From acting classes, sports/school events, or something else we are always on the go. And of course the camera is always close at hand...
